Generator Synchronization, Load Sharing & Controller Support
Specialist remote engineering support for generator synchronization, paralleling, load sharing, power management, commissioning and controller issues — including Woodward easYgen, ComAp and DEIF systems.
- Industrial & commercial generator systems
- Start with a text description — no backups or passwords required
- GCC, Africa & worldwide support by arrangement
Choose the issue that best matches your system.
These are the generator-control problems customers most commonly search for — and the areas GCX Power is built to support.
Synchronization & Paralleling
Generator will not synchronize, sync-check is not satisfied, paralleling is unstable, or the generator breaker will not close under sync conditions.
Load Sharing & Power Management
Unequal kW/kVAR sharing, unstable load transfer, governor/AVR interaction, or multi-generator PMS behavior that needs engineering review.
Woodward • ComAp • DEIF
Support for controller alarms, configuration, synchronization logic, communications and commissioning in common industrial genset-control platforms.
Commissioning & Recommissioning
Settings review, test planning, controlled functional checks and remote support for new, modified or recommissioned generator-control systems.
Controller Repair / Upgrade / Retrofit
Diagnose before replacing. If a controller is obsolete or faulty, GCX Power can support replacement selection, configuration and retrofit engineering.
Breaker • AMF • ATS • Auto Start
Review breaker-close logic, interlocks, feedbacks, AMF/ATS sequence and automatic generator start/transfer behavior.
Multi-brand support — without forcing the problem into one manufacturer’s viewpoint.
Brand names indicate engineering experience only. GCX Power is an independent engineering service and does not claim manufacturer authorization unless explicitly stated.
Woodward easYgen / LS-5
Synchronization, load sharing, breaker control, configuration and communication review for easYgen-based generator systems.
ComAp InteliGen / AMF
Controller configuration, synchronization, load sharing, communication and commissioning support across common ComAp generator applications.
DEIF AGC / Synchronizing Controls
Support for DEIF generator-control, synchronization, paralleling and load-sharing applications, including system-level troubleshooting.
Also supported at system level
Siemens / Rockwell PLCs • PMS / SCADA • Modbus • CAN / J1939 • PROFINET / Industrial Ethernet • Breaker-control logic • Generator protection interfaces
Before replacing parts, understand why the system is failing.
A synchronization or load-sharing fault can involve the controller, PLC logic, breaker feedback, governor, AVR, communications or site operating conditions. Replacing the controller alone may not solve the root cause.
- Review the full control chain, not only the alarm text
- Independent multi-brand engineering perspective
- Controller replacement recommended only when evidence supports it
- Remote-first approach can reduce unnecessary travel and downtime
Evidence → diagnosis → controlled action
We start with the symptom and operating context, identify what information is actually required, then define the safest and most efficient next technical step.
The objective is to diagnose the control problem before recommending replacement or retrofit work.
A clear four-step process from first contact to technical action.
01 — Send the symptom
Use the technical enquiry form or WhatsApp. Tell us the site country, controller/model, number of generators, symptom and urgency.
02 — Engineer review
GCX Power checks whether the problem is suitable for remote support and identifies the information needed for the next step.
03 — Agree scope & session
We agree the remote-support scope, commercial terms, communication method and any qualified on-site person required for safe checks.
04 — Diagnose & next action
The session focuses on evidence and controlled checks. You receive the findings, recommended action and follow-up path.
Many generator-control issues can be narrowed down or resolved remotely when the correct site information and qualified personnel are available.
Typical remote engineering work
- Synchronization / paralleling diagnosis
- Load-sharing and PMS review
- Controller alarm / parameter review
- PLC/PMS logic and communication review
- Commissioning preparation and guided testing
- Controller replacement / retrofit planning
Physical work stays on site
Live measurements, wiring changes, switching, protection work and physical verification must be performed by competent and authorized site personnel. If remote support is not enough, on-site support can be discussed separately.
- No protection or safety bypasses for unqualified personnel
- No unauthorized breaker operation
- Site retains responsibility for permits, isolation and electrical safety
Generator controls plus PLC, SCADA, networking and electrical-system knowledge.
Generator-control problems rarely stop at the controller. GCX Power combines generator synchronization and commissioning experience with PLC/SCADA, industrial networking, breaker control and power-management knowledge.
- Multi-generator synchronization and load-sharing systems
- Woodward, ComAp and DEIF generator-control environments
- Siemens and Rockwell PLC / HMI systems
- Modbus, CAN/J1939, PROFINET and industrial Ethernet
- International commissioning experience across GCC and Africa
Typical customer environments
Remote support is available by arrangement for suitable systems worldwide.
Start with whichever contact method is easiest for you.
You do not need to prepare drawings, backups or technical files before contacting us.
Describe the problem
- Country / site
- Controller brand / model
- Number of generators
- Problem / symptom
- Urgency
What happens next?
- Your enquiry is reviewed by an engineer
- We confirm whether remote support is appropriate
- Scope and commercial terms are agreed before the support session
Clear expectations before the first contact.
Do I need to give remote access immediately?
No. First contact is text-only. Remote access, files or screenshots are discussed only after the engineer understands the problem and confirms what is appropriate.
What if the controller needs replacement?
GCX Power can support fault diagnosis, replacement selection, configuration, retrofit logic and commissioning. Hardware supply can be discussed as part of the project if required.
Can you travel to site if remote support is not enough?
Yes, on-site troubleshooting or commissioning can be discussed separately depending on country, scope, schedule, access and project requirements.
Send the symptom. Let the engineering review determine the next step.
