GCX POWER WEBSITE

Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 5 September 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of gcxpower.com and general enquiries made to GCX Power. They also set out baseline conditions relevant to preliminary technical discussions and remote-support requests.

Important: Any quotation, purchase order, scope of work, proposal or signed service agreement accepted for a specific project will take precedence over these website Terms where there is a conflict.

Website legal information. This page is written for GCX Power's current engineering-service model. Project-specific quotations, purchase orders and signed agreements should contain the commercial and legal terms appropriate to the actual contracting entity and project location.

1. About GCX Power

GCX Power provides specialist engineering services relating to industrial generator-control systems, synchronization, paralleling, load sharing, power management systems, PLC/SCADA integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, controller replacement and retrofit work.

Unless expressly stated in writing, GCX Power is an independent engineering service provider and is not an authorized distributor, representative or service agent of Woodward, ComAp, DEIF, Siemens, Rockwell or any other manufacturer referenced on this website.

2. Website Information

Website content is provided for general business and technical information. It is not a substitute for a site-specific engineering assessment, approved design, OEM documentation, safety procedure or project-specific professional advice.

We may change website content, services, examples or availability without notice.

3. Enquiries Are Not Automatically Accepted Work

Submitting a form, sending a WhatsApp message or contacting GCX Power does not automatically create a service contract, guarantee response time or obligate GCX Power to accept a project.

Work begins only after the scope, commercial terms, technical responsibilities and any required site conditions have been agreed through an appropriate written quotation, proposal, purchase order, service agreement or other accepted arrangement.

4. Remote Engineering Support

Remote support may include review of alarms, controller parameters, PLC/PMS logic, communication issues, synchronization behavior, drawings, test results, configuration information and guided diagnostic steps.

Remote support does not remove the need for competent and authorized personnel at site where physical inspection, measurements, switching, isolation, wiring changes, testing or safety-critical actions are required.

5. Site Safety and Customer Responsibilities

The customer/site remains responsible for electrical safety, permits to work, isolation, lockout/tagout, switching authority, protection, local procedures and ensuring that only competent persons perform physical work.

GCX Power will not knowingly instruct unqualified personnel to bypass protection, defeat safety interlocks, perform unauthorized live work or operate equipment outside an agreed safe procedure.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate technical information and notifying GCX Power of known hazards, operating limitations and site requirements relevant to the work.

6. Technical Information and Backups

Before sending drawings, controller backups, PLC programs, passwords or other technical files, you must ensure that you have authority to disclose them.

Customers should maintain independent, verified backups of all controller, PLC, HMI, SCADA and configuration data before changes are made. GCX Power is not responsible for loss arising from the absence of an appropriate customer backup where backup responsibility has not been expressly included in the agreed scope.

7. Controller Changes, Testing and Commissioning

Changes to generator-control parameters, PLC logic, breaker controls, governor/AVR interfaces, protection settings or communications can affect equipment behavior and system safety.

Any implementation and testing must follow the agreed scope, applicable procedures and safe commissioning practices. Final acceptance of operating behavior remains subject to appropriate site verification.

8. Quotations, Pricing and Payment

Prices shown in quotations or proposals are valid only for the period and scope stated in those documents. Additional work, travel, waiting time, repeat visits, third-party costs, taxes, duties, permits, accommodation, access requirements or out-of-scope engineering may be charged separately where applicable.

Payment terms are determined by the applicable quotation, invoice, purchase order or service agreement. GCX Power may require advance payment for remote diagnostics, first-time customers, emergency support or other work before engineering time is reserved.

9. Travel and On-Site Services

On-site support is subject to engineer availability, travel feasibility, visa/work authorization, customer/site access requirements, safety conditions and commercial agreement.

Travel time, flights, accommodation, local transportation, visas, permits, insurance or other mobilization costs may be quoted separately unless expressly included.

10. Third-Party Products and Manufacturer References

Product names, trademarks and manufacturer names are used only to identify systems with which engineering support may be relevant. All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

GCX Power does not guarantee availability, compatibility, warranty status or manufacturer support for third-party equipment unless expressly included in a project-specific written commitment.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, GCX Power retains ownership of its pre-existing know-how, templates, engineering methods, calculation tools, standard documents and reusable technical materials.

Project-specific deliverables and customer usage rights are governed by the applicable quotation or service agreement.

12. Confidentiality

GCX Power will use reasonable care when handling non-public technical or commercial information provided for an enquiry or project. Project-specific confidentiality requirements should be documented in writing where needed.

Customers must not provide information they are prohibited from sharing.

13. No Guarantee of a Particular Technical Outcome

Engineering troubleshooting involves evidence, testing and system conditions that may not be fully observable remotely. GCX Power does not guarantee that every fault can be identified or resolved remotely, within a specific time or without replacement parts, site testing or third-party support.

Where practical, GCX Power will communicate findings, limitations and recommended next actions based on the information available.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and subject to any project-specific written agreement, GCX Power will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of production, profit, revenue, data or business opportunity arising solely from use of website information.

Any liability relating to paid engineering services will be governed primarily by the applicable quotation, purchase order or service agreement.

15. Website Availability and External Links

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website. Links to third-party websites, WhatsApp or external platforms are provided for convenience and do not make GCX Power responsible for those services or their content.

16. Acceptable Use

You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with website operation, submit malicious content, impersonate another person or organization, or use GCX Power communications to facilitate unsafe, unlawful or fraudulent activity.

17. Applicable Law and Project Agreements

Because GCX Power may support customers across multiple jurisdictions, the governing law, venue and dispute-resolution terms for paid engineering work should be stated in the relevant quotation, purchase order or service agreement where appropriate.

Nothing in these website Terms overrides mandatory law that applies to a particular transaction.

18. Changes to These Terms

GCX Power may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to website use from its stated effective date, while already-accepted project agreements remain governed by their own terms.
